Bring equipment setup into the rental plan.

Identify the equipment categories and the work they will support. Include the intended placement, existing supplies and connections, and any supporting cables, hoses or distribution requirements.

Share access for unloading, routes to the equipment position and any restrictions affecting the setup. Identify the site contacts responsible for arranging access and coordinating the rental equipment with other work.

Describe equipment dependencies and the order in which systems need to be ready. Include the operating requirements and the work schedule so startup can be discussed around the planned use.

If equipment will move or connections will change during the rental, bring those phases into the plan. Include the return sequence and the work that needs to finish before equipment is ready for pickup.

• Equipment and intended use
• Placement and connection points
• Available supplies and supporting equipment
• Access windows and site contacts
• Startup sequence and rental dates

Identify rental equipment that depends on another supply or system being ready first. Include generators, distribution, pumps, lighting or climate equipment where they form part of the arrangement. Share the dependencies and site contacts so connection and startup can be discussed around the complete equipment package.

Explain what the equipment needs to support when work begins and who will coordinate its use. Include the planned operating schedule and any task requirements already defined by the project team. Bring this information into the setup conversation so startup is connected to the work rather than only the arrival date.

Identify the person who can describe equipment positions, connections and the conditions at startup if support is needed later. Include planned moves or changes to the arrangement during the rental. Lakes Gear provides technical support 24/7, on-site service and replacement; bring those needs into the installation and startup discussion.
