Build a timeline by equipment category
List each category with its planned arrival date and expected duration. Separate firm project dates from milestones that drive the schedule. Identify where equipment is shared between tasks or needed only during a particular phase.
Track changes in the work
Record the changes that affect equipment requirements: new loads, a different work area, longer operating hours or changing water and climate conditions. Assign a site contact to coordinate these updates in the rental discussion.
Include operating and service needs
Describe how the equipment will be used throughout the rental. Bring technical support, on-site service, replacement and monitoring requirements into the plan. Keep the equipment locations and site contacts current as the project progresses.
Plan the return sequence
Identify what work must finish before each item is removed. Include connections between systems and the access available for pickup. Consider whether equipment will leave in phases or as one package.
Keep one current rental summary
Keep equipment, dates, support needs and return plans in one current summary for your project team and Lakes Gear.
