Create a connected-load list
List the tools, lighting and other equipment that will use the supply. Record manufacturer nameplate information where available. Identify which loads run together and which change during the project.
- Equipment name and quantity
- Voltage and phase
- Nameplate load information
- Starting and operating schedule
- Loads added or removed in later phases
Describe the supply
State whether the project needs a generator or will use an existing supply. Include the information available about that supply and its location. Identify existing distribution equipment and connection points that must be considered.
Map the distribution route
Describe the work areas and approximate distances from the supply. Include proposed cable routes, crossings, obstructions and restrictions on equipment placement. Add a simple written layout if a site plan is not available.
Coordinate setup and use
Identify who manages site power and who coordinates installation, connection and startup. Share delivery access, operating hours and the rental period. Keep the load list current if the equipment or work areas change.
Send the information as a rental request
Combine generation, distribution and related lighting or climate needs in one request. If some load details are missing, describe the equipment and work so the selection conversation can begin.
